What is beauty?

So what is beauty? Why does it matter?
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, beauty is defined as:
''Anything that pleases the senses or the mind'' This means that beauty is not about appearance and asthetics, it can mean different things to different people. That is because our thoughts and feelings about beauty are unique to each of us. For example; You think beauty as 'perfect' facial symmetry, others might associate beauty with how well we behave.
Yet beauty is also about how you carry yourself. The confidence you exude, how you talk,  what's your perspective on each n every situation, and how you treat yourself and the people around you. it could also be perceived in your generosity, kindness,patience, truthfulness, persistence, loyalty or other appealing aspects of your personality. All these attributes make a difference in how you're seen by others and how much ''beauty'' you're reflecting. I believe that people that possess this true type of beauty radiate and brings a social light onto others everyday.


As Segun Garuba-Okelarin said: I say beauty comes from within - you are beauty and beauty is you. You are a masterpiece - a work of art. There is only one you, made up of your genes and life experiences. And there will never be another.

Beauty inside and out? 

Everyone can make themselves beautiful whether it is beauty inside or beauty outside. Inner beauty light's up a person's face and bring warmth onto others. 
This type of beauty is so unique to individuals and will always remain, unlike outer beauty. Like this beauty doesn't have any aging signs. You can grow more, glow more. This type of beauty does not need any Retinoids to help you to prevent wrinkles or enhance your features.
But beside these, As we grow up, it's normal to be concerned about our physical appearances and whether or not we are accepted in our society circles. As adults, we can make choices.
